The Young Adults gather fortnightly on Sunday nights to share life together. Each time we focus on something different: Bible study, watching movies, preparing meals and sharing in worship. We laugh together, pray together and explore what it means to be a people of faith.
Many of the Young Adults at Brougham Place are part of the MiniM Choir that is part of the Centre for Music, Liturgy and the Arts. This is a choir for young adults from across South Australia. For more information, check out their website.
The National Christian Youth Convention (NCYC) is a week-long youth event held by the Uniting Church in Australia. Every two years, hundreds of youth between 16 and 25 and their leaders gather to experience Christian community. Check out their website for more details.
The young adults are involved in all aspects of worship life here at Brougham Place. Many of the young adults regularly read the scripture lessons or lead the congregation in prayer, singing or playing music – even preaching!
The young adults also help to support the ecumenical Taizé in Adelaide group. This is a cross-denominational gathering that moves around the city. For more information about Taizé, click here. For more information about the Taizé in Adelaide group, check out their website.
