Each month the youth group gathers for an activity. These range from having a sleepover at the church, to going bowling, to service projects, or even having a BBQ at the manse. These activities are either on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night and vary each month. See John for the current schedule.
This is a Sunday School class for Years 6-8. It gathers for the Sunday School time during the 10 AM Morning Worship. This group meets in the Lower Upper Room – a chapel in the basement of the church. During School Holidays the group does bonding activities with the teachers like footy in the park or going to get a hot chocolate.
South Australian Youth Camp Out (SAYCO) combines camp and conference in a unique environment for teenagers. The program usually includes contemporary worship, communities, small groups, workshops and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities designed to grow camper’s relationships with each other and with Jesus Christ. Each year Brougham Place takes a group of campers and vollies (older youth who help out). Check out their website for more details.
The youth are involved in all aspects of worship life here at Brougham Place. Many of the youth regularly read the scripture lessons or lead the congregation in prayer, singing or playing music.
