Kids Don’t Belong in Detention

The community forum on 30 July 2014 was a great success!  We had over 80 people come to hear Rev Mark Riessen share about the Christian imperative to hospitality and then participate in various actions to highlight the indefinite detention of children by Australia.  Here are some things from the night that you can do.

Teddy Bears of Deliverance

Some simple steps designed to raise awareness with your local Member of Parliament.

1. Take a tag and write a message on it (download teddy tag with message, download blank tags)
2. Tie it to the hand of a teddy bear
3. Deliver it to you local MP (you can look up your local MP here)
