Music and Arts

Brougham Place Church has a beautiful ambience and excellent acoustics. The church is committed to allowing this beautiful sacred space to be used as a venue for high quality artistic, and musical events that can inspire and nuture others.

We are fortunate in having two regular choirs - a traditional one to accompany services each Sunday and an a capella gospel choir. We also have many talented individual musicians and singers - both adults and children - who perform for various church events. These performers are skilled in a range of musical styles. We have a drama group that performs regularly for church services, and we have many other skilled, artistic people who add creativity and colour to our community life.

At least three times a year we hold a significant musical event. These events vary in style and content. We also hold artistic exhibitions and sometimes combine musical and artistic events. A traditional Carol Service is held annually.

The church buildings are available for hire for weddings, concerts, conferences or other events subject to agreement from the Church Council.
