Dave Symonds Funeral

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share the news of the sudden death of Dave Symonds on Sunday, 9th of March while participating in a cycling event in Victoria.

Dave was a cherished member of the Brougham Place community serving on Church Council, the Strategy and Planning Team, as well as heading up various projects. Known for his deep commitment, willing service and thoughtful approach to life and faith he will be truly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jenny, Georgia, Martin and Oscar; Lachlan and Kyle at this sad time.

Dave’s funeral was held at Brougham Place Uniting Church on Monday, 24th March.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name,
your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours
now and forever. Amen.
