Ken Anderson
Rev. Ken Anderson grew up in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide and trained as an optician before his theological training at Wesley College. Parishes at Quorn and Meningie set the scene for 17 years as State Youth Consultant for the Methodist and Uniting Churches. Six year appointments in a National Role and at Westbourne Park preceded eight exciting years at a fast growing regional Church on Queensland's Gold Coast at Robina.

Ken has served the Church at National and International levels making a major contribution to the work of the World Methodist Council with particular involvement for 25 years with the International Christian Youth Conference. While here he was also the Regional Secretary for Australasia for the Evangelism Committee of the World Methodist Council. He has a passion to make worship the 'shop window' of the faith involving the presence of four generations. His heart to communicate Faith into every aspect of society had been evident throughout his ministry.

Married to Trish with three adult children and four grandchildren his passions apart from his family and his faith are movies and Australian Rules Football. He completed twenty-three seasons as a goal umpire with the SANFL.

Ken saw the appointment to Brougham Place UC as a challenge and a wonderful opportunity to serve a great near city Regional Church that has wonderful opportunities to be "The light on the Hill".
